Global Handwashing Partnership support hand hygiene action in health care. He works with health workers, health system leaders, and policy makers to improve hand hygiene to prevent infections. The post goes in to detail about how to address hand hygiene improvement using a multimodal strategy with Chedly sharing his experiences. It notes that hand hygiene is one of the best ways to prevent the spread of infection. In infectious disease outbreaks, hand hygiene compliance becomes even more urgent to keep health workers, patients, and communities safe and contain the spread of disease.
