The guidelines on WASH FIT aim to contribute to the attainment of the country’s goals towards sustainable development, climate action, and universal health care. WASH FIT shall complement the implementation of the Philippine Health Facility Development Plan 2020-2040, which serves as the country’s roadmap to accessible health care anchored to a modern, resilient, and sustainable healthcare system.
